Cyblex Technologies takes the security and confidentiality of users’ personal data of the Custocy platform very seriously. We have strict internal procedures for storing, accessing and disclosing your data. Cyblex Technologies is committed to preserving your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we use the data we collect about you, how you can share your preferences on the limits of this data usage and our procedures to protect your privacy.

Who are we?

Cyblex Technologies is a SAS with a capital of € 99,000, registered in the Toulouse Trade and Companies Register under number 844 786 525, and whose head office is located at 1244 l’Occitane, 31670 Labège (the “Company”).

Cyblex Technologies has developed a website accessible from the custocy.com/ site (the “Site”) to encourage and facilitate discussions around the detection of cyberattacks through the use of artificial intelligence.

Data of Site Users

As part of the processing of personal data of Site Users, the purposes of which are set out below, Cyblex Technologies acts as a data controller.

1. What personal data do we collect, and how do we use it?

We may collect personal data about you when you interact with the Site, particularly when you request information or a demo, when you send us an application, when you download a document or comment on one of our posts. The personal data that we may collect include, without limitation, the following personal data:

  • IP address ;
  • contact information that you have provided to us (name, first name, email address, Etc.);
  • the user agent of your browser.

This data is collected for the purposes of using the Site, for :

  • statistical analysis,
  • commercial prospecting,

  • managing inquiries
  • and helping to detect unwanted comments.

Per the legislation in force, the processing of personal data is based on the proper execution of the contractual relationship between us, where applicable, consent to data processing and on our legitimate interest in developing our service and improving it.

2. How long is your data kept?

We keep your personal data for the duration of the subscription to the Site if you have created a User account and accepted our general conditions of use. This data can then be kept for 5 years from the end of our contractual relationship with you for probative purposes in the event of a claim or dispute.

If we have never had a commercial relationship with you, we keep your data for 3 years from our last contact with you for commercial prospecting. Otherwise, we can keep your data for 3 years from the end of our business relationship.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows subsequent comments to be recognized and approved automatically instead of sending them to the moderation queue.

1. What is a cookie?

The retention period of data collected through cookies varies but does not exceed 13 months. The statistical cookies used to collect data on the user’s Site activity are managed by the provider Matomo Analytics. The data is then returned to the data controller in an aggregated and anonymous manner in a web interface to which he has sole access. The data collected is not transferred to third parties or used for other purposes.

If you leave a comment on our Site, you will be offered to save your name, email address and Site in cookies. This is only for your convenience so that you do not have to enter this information if you post another comment later. These cookies expire after one year.

If you go to the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal data and will be automatically deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set up some cookies to save your login information and screen preferences. The lifespan of a login cookie is two days; that of a screen option cookie is one year.

If you check “Remember me”, your connection cookie will be kept for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the connection cookie will be deleted.

By modifying or publishing a post, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not include any personal data. It just shows the ID of the post you just edited. It expires after a day.

Content embedded from other sites

Posts on this Site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, Etc.). Content embedded from other sites behaves the same as if the visitor were to that other Site. These websites could collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, track your interactions with this embedded content if you have a connected account on their website.

3. How to block or delete cookies?

Who do we transfer your personal data to?

Your personal data is hosted by us locally, on our premises. Visitor comments can be verified using an automated spam detection service. If our business is sold or merged with another company, your data may be disclosed to our advisers, as well as any potential acquirers and their advisers, and be transferred to the new owners of the business.
